Oregano essential oil, available in both a 15 mL bottle and a 10 mL Touch (pre-diluted for easy use, especially on the go), is one of the most potent and powerful essential oils and has been used for centuries in traditional practices. Oregano essential oil uses are plentiful– from immune and digestive support to flavoring your favorite Italian dish. I’ve used Oregano in my spaghetti sauce and my butternut squash and kale chicken soup with amazing results (and great benefits, too)! In essential oil blends, oregano essential oil’s aroma works as an enhancer and equalizer.
It contains antioxidant properties when ingested, but when inhaling/diffusing, caution should be used as it’s extremely strong so only a drop or two is needed. When it’s applied to the skin, make sure to use a carrier oil for the same reason. Another great option is to use the doTERRA Oregano Touch which has coconut oil already added into a rollerbottle of oregano so you don’t have to worry about diluting it enough.

The doTERRA Difference
I recommend only one brand of essential oils: doTERRA essential oils. Please, please don’t use these tips and tricks with any other brand (it’s not safe, nor will you get the benefits that you will from these).
Because there isn’t regulation in the essential oil market, you need to do your research. After doing mine, I chose doTERRA essential oils for our family. To find out why, check out my blog post about Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils.
