Making this cloth safe natural diaper rash cream recipe at home saves you time, money, convenience, AND is better for your sweet baby's bottom! There’s nothing more frustrating than having a miserable baby at 3AM and running out of diaper rash cream (ask me how I know). Thankfully, I always have a gigantic tub of coconut oil from Costco in my pantry, along with essential oils in my office (and bedroom… and den… and kitchen… and dining room… and bathroom… and…..).  I was able to make this cloth safe natural diaper rash cream recipe for my first kiddo’s little bottom in the middle of the night and he woke up the next morning with a completely clear bottom. The best part is, it costs me less than $5– WAY cheaper than any cloth safe natural diaper rash cream you’ll find at Target or a health foods store.

When it comes to cloth diapering, you have to be fairly careful with what you use on your sweet little person’s bottom, since you don’t want stains, repelling, etc. if you can help it. This cloth safe natural diaper rash cream recipe doesn’t contain ANYTHING that will cause your diapers to repel and won’t stain those adorable little diapers.

Why did I choose the essential oils I did? Well, melaleuca is well-known to have antimicrobial properties, lavender is soothing to the skin (important when their bottom is red and hurting), and frankincense is the king of essential oils– it’s good for practically everything, but especially for the skin. These three together, along with raw or fractionated coconut oil make a powerhouse of a natural diaper rash cream that will not only help your baby’s bottom get to feeling better, but it’s amazing for any skin irritation that you might end up with, so dig it out of that diaper bag and switch it to the soccer bag, beach bag, or hiking backpack when needed!

If you’re looking for quality essential oils, make sure you only get the best– Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade— so that you know they’re safe to use on even the littlest members of your family. And when you decide you need the best, make sure you get the best price, too. Click here for how!
