I spend a lot of time looking at and drooling over pretty purses. It’s one of my faults. Just ask my husband and the two or three large boxes we move of shoes and purses every time (oops). When it comes to essential oils, though, finding a cute, functional bag to hold them all is next to impossible. Add in well-made and you’ll be looking forever. At least, that is, until you find Sew Grown. They have the cutest essential oil travel bags I’ve ever seen, from keychain size all the way up to a real purse with spaces for cards.
Personally, I love a product with a story behind it. Most of the bags at Sew Grown are made by Americans with disabilities and the company is run out of Steffanie’s home. If you like to shop small, this is the definition! The fabrics are made without chemicals or irritants which is super important to many people, but especially users of essential oils. After all, we like our natural options, right? PLUS, the wooden tags on the outside of each bag acts as a diffuser when you add a couple of drops of essential oil so you can diffuser your oils anywhere you are! Honestly, even without all of that, these essential oil travel bags would be totally worth it. They’re almost quilted weight, sturdy, padded to protect the bottles, and absolutely beautiful. You have several patterns to choose from, as well as sizes. I ordered four of the five sizes, each in a different print so you could see just what I’m talking about.
The smallest option is a keychain case. It holds 9 glass drams or mini roller bottles. Being able to attach it to the outside of a backpack or purse means I can easily reach my oils anytime I need them, without having to dig through the piles of kid crap in my bag. Plus, check out this print. Tresco is literally happiness on a fabric. It’s bright and covered in tropically-colored blooms, succulents, and ferns. Just look at those pinks, yellows, and greens! Does it get any prettier than that? This is one way to update that purse you’re tired of, without spending a ton (and adding even more function!).
The next of their essential oil travel bags is the roller bottle size. It holds up to 8 roller bottles and stands upright so you can easily see the oils you have inside. It’s the perfect size for a weekend trip to the countryside or beach. All of the bags come in gorgeous prints that you can coordinate together to match or pick completely different ones. Hera is a gorgeous peacock feather print in shades of pinks and blues and purples with some pops of green. It’s subtle, but absolutely beautiful.
The medium essential oil travel bags hold 8-10 bottles of essential oil. They hold 10 roller bottles, but they also fit 8 of your 15 mL bottles (the big ones!) so you can carry any of your favorite oils in your stash, without having to transfer them to a new bottle or dilute yourself. Felix and Isabelle is basically a colorful paisley without being obnoxiously Southern (not that I’ve ever had any issues with something obnoxiously Southern– #monogramallthethings). The oranges and reds show up beautifully on the nearly-navy blue background.
The largest and, in my opinion, most functional is the brand-new purse! Not only does it hold 6 glass bottles from 5-15 mL, but it ALSO holds spray bottles up to 4 inches high. This means you can take ANYTHING you need for your day. Because it’s a purse, it has spaces for your credit cards, phone, coupons, lipstick, and whatever else you throw in there. It is big enough to carry what you need, but still small enough to comfortably fit in a larger purse or backpack so you don’t have to transfer all your cards and whatnot over every time you want to take the diaper bag somewhere. Tatum reminds me of your grandma’s favorite travel bag, updated to be a bunch of happy colors and less drab. They’re tiny yellow, pink, teal, and red flowers on a charcoal background that just make you smile.
Whether you want a bag that can act as a purse all on its own or a smaller keychain vial keeper, Sew Grown has the American-made, quality, beautiful bag for you. You seriously can’t get a better product than these! I’m SO excited I finally invested in some essential oil travel bags that will last a lifetime and catch everyone’s eye that I pass. If you need essential oils to put in these gorgeous essential oil travel bags, make sure you get the best on the market. Wondering which oils to take in Sew Grown’s bags when you travel?
